In your average permaculture design course, students form in groups to design a site and present their work to the class on the last day. In this Financial Permaculture course, design presentations were given to an audience that included state senators, representatives from the USDA, city and state officials as well as prominent business people. Whether their designs will be implemented by the government or not is not important. What is important is that we the people work together and make the changes we see are needed, and that we continue to address our leaders and offer them working alternatives to our currently degrading system.
